Beyond being a place to shop vintage and contemporary collectible home goods, Haven has become something of a gathering place. With the dawn of St. Johnsbury's 1st Annual Final Fridays in 2022, Haven began hosting ephemeral art exhibitions with a catered opening reception. The first year went so well, that in 2023, we expanded our exhibitions beyond the Final Friday Street Fair in order to include more of the incredible artists that submitted pitches.

2023 saw the birth of a new Fall Festival in Downtown St. J, Fall For St. Johnsbury. As our contribution, we curated a market of some of the best Northeast Kingdom vintage clothing dealers and comrades from surrounding communities in VT + NH. The event was DJ'd live by XAVWAX and food service was provided by Rocky's Hot Dogs + Mexico Auntentico. The Bread + Puppet Press popped up with vintage circus posters, banners, and more! And the event was the debut of a new grassroots organization advocating for a free, concrete action sports park in town.

Each year, we thank our friends + regulars by hosting a birthday party for Haven the weekend before Christmas. It's a way to celebrate the reason we're still open, because of the people that shop with us. This year, Zivah Solomon was our event film photographer and she knocked it out of the park.
